Preschool Application Process

Preschool Screening Sign-Ups for the 2026-2027 School YEAR. 

The Green Local Schools Preschool Program is designed for children ages 3–5 who reside within the Green Local School District. Our integrated classrooms comprise students with documented disabilities and typically developing peer role models.

The Preschool Program at Green Primary School has openings for preschool peer models for the 2026-2027 school year. The online application process is listed below.

The screening process for peer models is conducted through a mandatory in-person screening held at Green Primary School. During the screening, your child will participate in various preschool activities alongside other prospective students. Staff will observe social, communication, motor, and language skills. Families will have the opportunity to tour the building and observe a preschool classroom during the screening process.  

Applications must be submitted by January 31st at 4:00 PM.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Must be a resident of the Green Local School District.

  • Must be three years old by August 20, 2026.

  • Must be fully toilet trained (not in pull-ups).

  • Must demonstrate age-appropriate communication and social skills.

Important Note:

  • Tuition: Families of peer role models will be required to pay $215 per month.

  • Please understand that space is limited, and not all children who apply will be accepted.

  • It is highly recommended that you register early, as screening spots fill up quickly.

  • Priority for screenings will be given to students who turn 4 by August 20, 2026.

Step 2: Schedule and Attend a Screening Appointment
